A little bit of media…

Osmos has been getting some media attention. Amazing what a few IGF nominations can do!

First, and most exciting, a gamasutra interview with Eric Caoili.

It’s also incredibly interesting for us to see what people — whom we have never met — are saying about the game. I mean, if you can’t trust completely anonymous interweb denizens to give you their honest opinion, who can you trust? Happily, they seem to like it! A selection of sweet write-ups can be found at Digital Tools, Joystiq, The Reticule and The Dust Forms Words.

It’s always nice to get some love from friends as well — thanks Eric and Mat!

Hopefully it can serve as fuel in the fire to help you get the final version out. Me wants more gravity based cell consumption!

Osmos has a very interesting design and looks very promising in my opinion.
    Keep up the good work!

    This game was sssiiiccckkk.

It reminded me of the cell stage in the game SPORE which is a good thing.

I love that if you accelerate, little motes come out of you in proportion to your size…really cool.

I love that if you go to fast, you begin to fly and you end up wasting a lot of your brake fluid trying to stop yourself.

I love how that scarcey is a smart little fucker. As soon as I got close to him he started to hit the jets.

I love the music. Always been a fan of electronic dream ambient.

This game would be nasty with multiplayer. Multiple motes trying to achieve the same goal.

I’d buy this game if it came out.

    Keep me posted!

    hello

this is a fabulous game. it takes what other producers made too simple, childish or creepy and rebuilds it like it was ment to be. I’ll support you from Bucharest any way I can (primarily by spreading the news for those who can appreciate it :) )

    Respect,
    Matt

OSMOS is a win / win game for me.
I can still be comfortable, while climbing the challenging ladders of expertise.
Very relaxing and smooth. Nicely designed.

    Good for You OSMOS crew.
When can I buy the full version?
