The Linux is coming…

If you had asked us two months ago – or even one month ago – if the Linux port of Osmos would come out before the iPhone or iPad versions (more info on that soon, promise!), we would have said “Not a chance!”

We would have been wrong.

Thanks to the hard work and mad skills of Dave Burke, our newly converted Ubuntu warrior, the Osmos Linux beta has been going really well. All systems look go for launch in two days (i.e. Wednesday, April 28), right here! (Is there a Linux portal out there? There should be!)

As promised, everyone who already purchased the PC or Mac versions from Hemisphere will automatically have access to the Linux version upon release. Moreover, we know that Linux is very much a word-of-mouth community, so we’d really appreciate your help in getting the word out about the game. We’ll be giving out a free copy of the Linux version to everyone that reviews or posts about Osmos on their blog. (Just send us an email with a link to your post.)

Thanks and more soon… :)
