Re: Game runs incredibly slowly
More than likely a bady installed OpenAL. This is what usually causes such slowdowns.

Profiles
They are a must have for this kind of game.
It's the typical casual game several people will play in the house. Guests even, since you learn the basics in a couple minutes.
Profiles would allow users to keep their own progression in the game.
I think you guys should work on it.

Re: iPhone or XBLA?
I was thinking yesterday that this game would be a perfect fit for the DS. Pushing your little ball with the pen would be fun.

Re: Osmos Support
I installed the game on a laptop and had issues with OpenAL under Steam too.
Here is how I fixed it : download the non-steam demo directly from this site, install it, steam version now should be able to run.
You then can erase the non-steam demo version.

Re: Osmos Feedback
I got the same bug.
Anyway I like the game, it's verrry relaxing.
It's craving for multiplaer options though.
Fighting an opponent to get the bigger ball would be fun.

Re: Osmos Demo Support
If you still have the patience, would you mind uninstalling and trying again directly from the Steam install (with the slow framerate) and sending us the log from that? Thanks! Eddy Sorry, I would have but I bought the full game in the between time. Steam won't let you have a demo and full game ins...

Re: Osmos Demo Support
I uninstalled and reinstalled the steam version, both now work. For the sake of it I uninstalled both and reinstalled the steam version only. It was slow. Reinstalled your site's version again, then reinstalled steam version, both work. Basically, whatever is done by your site's version allows the S...

Re: Osmos Demo Support
After trying to reinstall from Steam and suffering the same issues, I downloaded the demo directly from your site. It installed, then Windows 7 told me that the game may not have been properly installed and proposed to reinstall with recommended parameters. It didn't tell me what they were though. I...

Re: Osmos Demo Support
Yes I run the game in fullscreen.
My graphic card is an ATI HD3870 with 512 Mb of memory.
It's quite common and can run quite demanding games like Assassin's Creed without an issue.
Let me know if you need any other info.
