Extreme slowness entering S1-2 update:

I waited patiently for the S1-2 level to start and managed to complete the level. I've been playing a while since then and the problem has not reappeared at another level. At least now I can enjoy the rest of the game!

@patrick_leb: are you playing on Steam? If so, try S1-2 again with rendering LOD set to low (in the visual options). does that solve the framerate issue on startup of that level?
