Re: Issue with Crossover
Can you find the Osmos.log file? (The Crossover version.) In Windows it's normally under <User\My Documents\Osmos\Osmos.log
if so, see any errors or warnings in it?
Thanks,
Eddy

Re: Issue with Crossover
Hi Majorman,
Any log information? From what I understand you can see it by opening "CrossOver Games" and running "manually" (programs->run commands?)
Thanks,
Eddy

Re: Issue with Crossover
Hi Majorman, (And thanks cornario, you're spot on. Sorry about the download speed -- hang in there!) A little extra info that may help: 1. In Crossover Preferences, uncheck "Hide service packs." 2. Go to the Software Installer. 3. Install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable&quo...

Re: When????
Hi everyone, Thanks for your excitement, and your patience! You should all be able to download the game now (that is, if you purchased it from Hemisphere). Our provider (E-Junkie) seems to be having some serious download speed issues though (bad timing, I know!), and I'm doing my best to get support...

Thanks for the info arisian! I should add this info, along with the tests we've run on Mac with Crossover to the FAQ.

Re: Osmos Demo Support
Hi Jazz Ad,
I take it that's the log from an install that's working correctly?
If you still have the patience, would you mind uninstalling and trying again directly from the Steam install (with the slow framerate) and sending us the log from that?
Thanks!
Eddy

Re: Osmos Demo Feedback
Hi Mark, Regarding graphics, take a look at the "visual options" page in the game menu. You can play with quality settings there, along HUD toggling, orbit visualization, etc. As for absorbing the central Attractor (in F1-1), it's theoretically possiblem, though I've never done it myself. ...
