That's really odd, pettey – I haven't heard of that happening before. Since you haven't made any progress in the game yet, could you try deleting the app and downloading again please?

Hi Berroll, It's true, the PC versions of Osmos don't have full UNICODE support, and therefore only support latin alphabets. I recently added a link to the multitouch version of Osmos on customers' download pages. Have you tried downloading and playing that version? If so I'd love to hear your feedback.

We added the pause since some people were tabbing away by accident and getting absorbed. Sorry to say we didn't consider your use-case, so there isn't any workaround to get the game to stop pausing the way you'd like. =/
