The game is retina optimized but the app icon is blurry and pixelated, that's very annoying to me !

Having a single low res icon on a full page of apps is just driving me mad

we wanted to provide a high resolution icon for Osmos, but sadly Apple made us choose. We could either drop support OS2.x, or offer a high-res icon for Osmos. High-res icons are only available if you compile exclusively for OS3.x or higher. We decided it would be nice to let people with older hardware play the game.

Ok, I understand your point of view, but OS 2.x represents such a small part of the devices ! It's insignificant !

Most developpers, even major apps no longer support it !

I hope you'll change your mind, I really wish to have HD icon !

Sometimes stopping retro-compatibilty helps the evolution of devices, apps and customers (lol)

Ok, we will Angry, but it'll take some time. (It takes 2 weeks just to pass an update through Apple submission process.)

btw, did you give Osmos a 1-star review because of this? (I saw someone did for exactly this reason.) If so... come on, cut us some slack. You can always update your score

Hum, that's weird !

I already changed it to 4 stars, with a flattering comments but it seems that Apple didn't update it.

I'll try to fix that this evening.

I really hope you'll update the icon because your game is great and deserve a nice icon

I always wondered who those freaks on the iStore were who randomly gave apps a 1 star review just because of something stupid and insignificant like the app icon...

Now I know!

It's like some people like to show their disgust so much, they think it's appropriate to write the whole app off with a 1 star rating.

These people are mindless, display troll-like properties, and were probably spoilt / an only child.

How on Earth someone could actually bother starting a thread about this?

Seriously! You really "wish" to have an HD icon? Go read a book, do your homework, find something important to give a **** about!

I couldn't care less about an icon, it's far more important to reach a greater audience than it is to satisfy some OCD for a very small number of the very strange type of customers you have.
