Crash on start

My osmos crashes on starting the game.
This has happened twice. After the first time, I deleted and re-installed osmos, which solved the problem but only temporarily.
Both times the problem began after the odyssey levels had been completed, the game worked perfectly before then. The crash occurs immediately on starting the game every time after the problem starts.
Device: 64Gb wifi only iPad 3 with iOS 5.1.
