Dear support,
I thought I'm ready for multiplayer so I headed to the menu and the notification to turn my wifi on welcomed me.
A few key points:
* People who have mobile internet have great speeds (3.5G/HSPA+)
* Granted they may have a traffic limit of say 1GB
* what if someone uses 200MB/month from a 1GB allowance and wants to play Osmos with the rest 800?
* Whoever has a big screen and/or good graphics hardware will have hsdpa/4g-ready phone
* My mobile internet is much faster and more stable than some cable broadbands and most public wifi accesses.
* It's 2013 and "unlimited" mobile internet is spreading
* What if I want to play outside but there's no wifi around (e.g. parks)
* I guess if my friend tethers some mobile internet through a wifi AP I can play, but not with my own connection?!
* If it's not clear: I have unlimited fast mobile internet, but no wifi
Please let users decide what connection they use!
A usual warning of "using this may incur additional charges" is enough.
Multiplayer is one of the main reasons I paid for the app, let me use it then!
Thanks,
+Robi

Wifi multiplayer option is pointless

Re: Wifi multiplayer option is pointless
Please please prioritise multiplayer via cellular. My 4G is faster than my cable, bus/train time is great for games and also, everyone in my house now has a 4g phone, soon we'll cancel the cable and have no WiFi at all.
Re: Wifi multiplayer option is pointless
The title is a bit strong but I support the points mentioned. 4G latency is in the 30ms range addition which is way less then required. I'm in Australia and the latency is 300ms to 500ms which is acceptable.
Also I've played many hours of multilateral Osmos this month and only used 1mb of data according to the Android system.
I don't imagine it'd be hard to get rid of so whilst doing that can you put in the kitkat immersive mode?

Re: Wifi multiplayer option is pointless
Yup, we allow 3G/4G multiplayer as of Osmos 2.3. Glad to hear you're happy to see it!
