Will there be a level editor or some sort of mod making tool for Osmos?

Hi Sanjuaro,

We'd love to add a level editor -- and it will happen -- but not right away. (A few other fish to fry first.)

That said, we'd love to hear any specific suggestions people may have on what they'd like to see in it. It'll help us decide what's important when we start building it.

Thanks!
Eddy

That's understandable. Other than basic mote placements and level sizes/shapes I can't quite think of much else to put into an editor.

Well besides the same things Sanjuaro said, I think that maybe it might be neat to have a some sort of "advanced" options where you can maybe edit the attributes of each mote you place specifically. I'm not sure how the size of the mote matters, but something like adjusting the amount of gravity an attractor has, or maybe how aggressive other motes are?

Again, these are just some random ideas. If the size of the mote determines some of these different factors then just being able to adjust the size of each mote you place would do the trick.

Thanks for listening!
