Is Osmos heading to XBOX live?

Postby Nacery » Tue Sep 29, 2009 12:50 pm

I was translating some new lines of the osmos update and found this

loc Menu_LaunchGuide "Launch [&L]IVE guide"
loc Roll_LaunchGuide "Access the Games for Windows - LIVE Guide."

I mean, it's Games for Windows but, does it means you are having some kind of deal with Microsoft?

Eww. 360, I will really be disappointed in your Hemisphere if you put Games for Windows Live associated with this, like Fallout 3 has. It's so annoying, and makes you login to it and makes you have it installed to run it...oh god, no. It's a nightmare.

It's too late now to implement GfWLive into Osmos. But don't worry anyway, there's no indie games in GfWLive system.

That's good to know, thanks for the reply. I'm glad that they won't be putting Games for Windows Live with Osmos.

This thread was about the 360, nothing to do with GFWL. Just thought i would mention that...

So it's all clear now. Osmos is heading to GfW Live Marketplace.

Hey Everyone,

It's true! We couldn't talk about it before, but it's public info now:
http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/03/games ... ng-dec-15/

And not to worry, Osmos will continue to be available and supported on our website, Steam, etc., this is just a new "channel". Hopefully it'll expose Osmos to people who wouldn't have tried it otherwise. :)

Cheers,
Eddy
