Hi schenker,

Let's try to narrow it down to a video vs. audio problem.

- First, try using D3D mode: http://www.hemispheregames.com/faq-pcos ... /#tech_d3d
- If that doesn't work, try running without sound for a while: http://www.hemispheregames.com/faq-pcos ... soundcrash

Hopefully one of those tests results in a crash-free setup for you. If it's sound, we'll try to find a way to get you running with it re-enabled again. No sound = no fun. ;-)

Cheers,
Eddy

Thanks, Eddy. I've changed D3D to "1" and I'll see what happens. Since I wasn't getting crashes regularly, it may be a bit until I know whether it worked or not, so I'll report back.

Display "shrinks" when exiting

This is a weird one - new Samsung 24" 1080p monitor, game plays great in full HD, but when I exit, the screen is no longer full screen - it loses about 1" overall and re-centres on the LCD panel, leaving a black border.

I have to check on this, but i'm not sure if it's only when I exit, or whether the game itself resizes like that, but I can only get back to normal with a full reboot - changing the screen resolution in windows does nothing to resolve the issue, and this is the only software i've used so far that has this effect (humble bundle 3 amongst others in use here).

ATI 4670 512Mb card in use with DVI cable.

Hi phoe,

Weird one indeed! As a first stab, could you try switching over to D3D mode as well please? (See previous messages in this thread for details.)

Cheers,
Eddy

Hi hensome,

Hmmm... we haven't heard about this one for a while. Does this help? http://www.hemispheregames.com/faq-pcos ... ch_overlay
