Has anyone completed the final survival levels against the feraxes? I swear, this is tough. Growing larger than all the feraxes is one strategy, but one mistake during the endgame and you're lost. I've beaten 2 feraxes several times, but I have yet to beat 3.
To get the Viral Master achievement, I'll have to beat 4 feraxes. Can this be done? Of course, I'm sure the game designers have done this, but wow, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying everything, including:
-- Try to grow faster than the feraxes, without losing too much mass
-- Avoid chasing a ferax unless the opportunity is right (i.e., no hard manuevering to start chasing)
-- Chase and kill a ferax when the opportunity is right
-- Playing at the slowest speed
-- Zooming out to watch the feraxes, and avoiding parts of the map where they are heading
-- Steering towards areas with more mass, so I can get or stay larger than the feraxes
Any ideas?
