Update Notification problem (non-Steam)

In the thread titled Update issues? (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=152&start=0)
the issue of a a screen popping up intermittently during game play and asking whether or not the user wanted to update to a current
version of Osmos was addressed. However this thread was limited to the Steam version, and I am having trouble with the version I
downloaded from the Hemisphere website yesterday (9/15/09).

I looked through the threads and did not find one relevant to the problem regarding the Hemisphere version.
The game is awesome, but game-play is impossible with the update screen constantly popping up.
Any suggestions, or help would be appreciated.

Hi braineater,

We just updated the Hemisphere version this morning to 1.5.7. Want to try downloading the latest and giving it a try? Please let us know if how that goes for you.
