If deleting clientregistry.blob, and restarting steam didn't help, then It's on Steam's end. They may be having issues with downloads, or verifying that you actually own the game. Create a support ticket here: https://support.steampowered.com/. Make sure in this ticket to include a detailed description on what's happening, and a screenshot of what error your receiving. I hope this helps with you with your problem.

valves answer to my ticket:
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -WEXN-6831
but nothing work..

5. If this issue is only happening on a third party non-Valve game, please try launching the game's .exe directly from its installation folder: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\<Game Title>. You may also try other .exe's such as Launcher.exe in the game folder to see if a different error message is found

my error message: (is in my language. i translate it for you)
the applicationconfiguration is not correct. to solve it, the application should be reinstalled.

i did a reinstall, but nothing work.

Hi jhead,

That's odd, it sounds like a Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package problem. (though it's included in the Osmos directory under Microsoft.VC80.CRT/)
What OS are you running on?
One thing worth trying is to download and install the latest package from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
Please let us know how that works for you.

Thanks,
Eddy

yes, time to leave microsoft (and playing games).
i think you should support the os which most players use.

hi jhead,

Agreed, we are supporting XP. In fact, that's what i'm running on my dev machine. (TehWhale, I appreciate your help, but please comment on other people's posts only when you have constructive advice.)

I'm not sure yet why this isn't working on your machine though. Did you check if the Microsoft.VC80.CRT directory exists under your Osmos install directory under Steam? If so... this is really strange. One last thing to try is the 2005 redistributable from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

If that doesn't work send me an email at [webmaster at hemispheregames dot com] and I'll send you another build to try.

Thanks,
Eddy
