No Start 2. Never gets past "not using vsync" in log.

Postby emry » Wed Dec 30, 2009 5:02 pm

When starting from Steam, osmos.exe crashes just after the window opens up. Both fullscreen or not, nosound did not change the outcome. Tried several video drivers from old (modded) and new (OEM)

If I try executing the osmos.exe directly from its location it complains that Steam must be running... whether it is or not.

Snip of log as follows. Only changes to log output is from aforementioned options which change the log predicably.

Problem solved. For some reason the newest Nvidia driver did not upgrade my OpenGL, it was still stuck on ver.1.4.0. Perhaps because the Geforce Go5600 is a oddball card. I installed an older known good driver and the game started and worked. Logs now show OpenGL as 2.0.3.
