Hi, I'm one of the Intel Linux graphics driver developers. I just found out about Osmos from a bug report about a performance regression, and ended up picking up the full game in the process. I also stumbled across the post-mortem, which I was quite interested to read (I'd certainly love to see more games on Linux, and that's what got me into being a graphics driver developer in the first place).

So, I'm curious what specific open-source driver issues you ran into while developing Osmos, particularly with Intel graphics. Did you end up isolating what was wrong in any cases? We're developing an OpenGL testsuite that we use to test our drivers (http://people.freedesktop.org/~nh/piglit/), and I'd love to pull in any short tests you might have to make sure our drivers work for Osmos. I came up with one testcase for Osmos failure on the current generation of hardware (http://cgit.freedesktop.org/piglit/comm ... eaceaa38c5)

Finally, thanks for the .deb packages. I know it's a pain to build them, but it sure was nice as an end user :)
