status of Osmos on Win7 x64?

Postby ryran » Fri Jul 09, 2010 5:30 pm

I initially started playing the demo on my Fedora (linux) box, but.. running into occasional freezes I figured I'd purchase the full version and it'd be more reliable in Windows. ...Surprised to see that I can't even get it to start. It asks about updates and then fullscreen and then windows reports that's is crashed and asks me what to do. Has anyone else gotten Osmos to work in 64-bit Windows7? (PS The only mention of something similar I found here on the forums recommended disabling all audio playback devices before starting, which I tried. No difference.)

Not that I expect it to be helpful, but here are the details.

Hi,

Osmos runs beautifully for me on Win7 Ultimate x64. Purchased via Steam.

Regards,
Gabriel

Hi ryan,

According to that crash report, it looks like problem is occurring in your machine's Intel graphics GL driver (ig4dev32.dll). Have you tried updating drivers, etc?

Dave
