arm binary or source

Postby SoloFlyer » Wed Dec 15, 2010 7:39 pm

Couple of questions...

Any chance of a Linux binary compiled for arm instead of x86 id like to be able to play on my tablet?

Or

Now i know you may be apprehensive about releasing the source code under traditional open source licenses like the GPL... but have you considered something like an old school Unix license?

This would allow people like me to compile the source code privately to make it run on my tablet ( and to contribute patches back to you, if you wanted them ) but wouldnt allow me to distribute derivative works in any way or to give it to friends etc, anyone who wanted the game would still have to buy it, and therefore this wouldnt affect your ability to make a living and might actually allow you to sell more copies!! :)

Please note that while I have already purchased osmos i would be happy pay a little extra for source code :)

If anyone can see any reason why this wouldnt be viable im open to feedback :)
