I just recently switched over to the 64-bit version of Ubuntu (from 32) and went to install Osmos. I noticed there was only one .deb package (as opposed to a 32-bit and 64-bit .rpm) so I tried installing it and I get a segmentation fault when I try to run.
I want to try downloading the .tar.gz but it tells me I am out of Linux downloads.
Please help.

Re: Help with Ubuntu 64-bit
Hi nicko68,
The .deb package contains both 32bit and 64bit binaries and so should run fine on your 64bit system. Can you please post the contents of the Osmos log to this thread?
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Help with Ubuntu 64-bit
It looks like I mistakenly installed as root (sudo) and when I tried to run as my normal user I got the error. After reinstalling it works.
The install didn't quite do everything. No entry was added to the menu. I think it was with the 32 bit. Not a huge deal, as long as the game is working.
