I just purchased the MacUpdate promo for Osmos, not knowing what the Steam version meant. I somehow thought Steam worked like the AppStore. I now realize that the Steam version requires an Internet connection to run.

I would like to switch from the Steam version to the AppStore version. Can I just make up the four dollar difference between the MacUpdate promo and the AppStore price? I want to run Osmos directly without requiring an online connection. Otherwise, I will just delete it.

How do I contact someone to discuss this?

We can't hand out Mac App Store copies, but we've spoken with our contact at MacUpdate, and they've added a standalone, downloadable .dmg of the full version of Osmos along with Steam codes for all people who purchased from them. Hope that works for you!
