Osmos vs Osmos HD from Humble Indie Bundle

Postby bilog » Wed Sep 18, 2013 1:41 am

Hello,

I purchased Osmos with the Humble Indie Bundle and between installations and updates (of the app, always through HIB) I now find myself with _two_ Osmos installed, one named simply Osmos the other Osmos HD. The annoying thing about it is that I seem to have different progress in the two versions, so apparently they don't use the same data files. I was hoping to be able to symlink the two or something, but since the directories are in the part of the filesystem that need root access, I wasn't able to play this trick ;-)

Suggestions on how I could solve the thing, and which version I'm supposed to keep installed?

Weird! Osmos HD is the correct one. I'm not sure how you ended up with "Osmos" (without HD). Send us an email at webmaster and we'll try to get to the bottom of this if you're still interested.

[Sorry about the super-delayed reply. Seems like the forums "got away" from us. Trying to catch up now...]
