i just found out, that there is a newer version of the 2005 c++ runtime. the 2008 version
it works with it! at least with my laptop!

hi! the problem: "The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." ... i get this message after trying to launch osmos. ... reinstalling the application doesn't fix this problem! the demo worked fine...
