i just got the game and im somewhere halfway.
though i would like to see this game, after the mac/linux versions are done, to be ported to the consoles, to name a few options:

    PlayStationNetwork
    XboxMarketplace
    WiiShoppingChannel
    PlaystationPortable
    NintendoDSi
    Ipod
    Iphone
    Google Android (killer app potential)

I myself only have a PC a DS and a ipodNano, though i can imagine there being a huge audience in the iphone and XM/PSN area,
i guess it could be quite lucerative to port it later on.
So does anyone know if there are already plans for it?

Great list jojo, and thanks for your support! Yeah, we've definitely thought about the best places to see Osmos, and now that Osmos has released and is breaking out into the world, we're definitely looking forward to see what the future of Osmos will look like for other platforms. Stay tuned... ;)

Happy Osmoting,
Dave

Great, but please don't forget us PC customers when/if you start developing for consoles. I.E. if you release extra content for, say, the XBLA or PSN editions of the game, please come back and eventually put the new features into the PC version of the game.

Often developers move on to arguably bigger and better things and forget about us old PC users, saving the new content and advanced features for consoles, or sometimes completely stopping development for PC.

I just don't want to see that happen to what has been my favorite game (and favorite developer) of the year so far.

true, but it would also increase popularity, wich in turn can lead to extra sales and money to make beter/more games with
also it would greatly expand the fan/userbase.
and thats something every new indie studio can use right? ;)

btw, one platform i forgot would be the Google Android system
maybe because it is close to linux its easy to port (and you could introduce it as a mobile exclusive/killerapp/game for android)
also, if it would be made for googleOS/Android for the first netbooks, it could greatly improve the popularity/fame of the game.
like windows had minesweeper/solitaire ;)

I seem to remember the Nokia 5800 has some basic OpenGL support.
The newer Nokias hopefully have improved on this and might be able to
play a slightly more basic version of this game by now.

If Osmos could be ported to Google Android it will be great! Indeed it could be an extra income. I suggest to focus on Android since Apple is very picky with allowing software in their market. I totally agree that it could be the perfect exclusive/killerapp/game for android.

Keep up the good work!
