Hi,
I am a somewhat newcomer to the wonderful world of Linux (Ubuntu) and a complete newbie in the enticing universe of Osmos. I installed the demo yesterday and was immediately hooked. Incredibly addictive game. I just bought the full version and want to remove Osmos Demo before installing the full program.
However, "apt-get remove OsmosDemo" (or any of the several name variants I've tried) report that the package with that name can't be found. Also, I can't find uninstall instructions anywhere.
Would somebody kindly point me in the right direction in order to remove Osmos Demo from my system?
Thank you.

Re: How to uninstall Osmos Demo in Ubuntu?
Hi reluctantlyright,
The 'Osmos' and 'Osmos Demo' packages should both appear in your package manager, be accessible to package-mangement commands, etc.
One suggestion though: Osmos containts the 'smarts' to bring demo progress over to the full version, so that the player isn't forced to replay those first few levels. So, you may want to launch Osmos first before uninstalling the demo
Enjoy!
