I just bought Osmos through Steam.
I got blue screen of death twice while playing, happens about 20 minutes into the game.
I'm running Windows XP SP3, 6000+AMD, 8800GT, 2GB Ram.
Steam installed OpenAL for me, and my directx is up-to-date, I will however check for driver updates for my GFX.
Anyone else having these problems? Will it be investigated? Will it be fixed?

Re: BSOD in Osmos
Hi contradel,
Does it happen to you on any particular level?
Is your machine 32 or 64 bit?
Also, could you post a copy of the log here? It's My Document\Osmos\Osmos.log.
Thanks,
Eddy

Hi contradel,
What does the Bluescreen say? Sounds like your computer might be overheating. Can you please verify your fan vents are clean (crack open your case and blow 'em out)?
Thanks,
Dave

Re: BSOD in Osmos
Im running 64 bit, and it aint overheating lol, I play tons of other more demanding games.
It was the sound thing again, fixed it by editing default.cfg in the Osmos folder, choosing sounddevice to "1" instead of "-1", now the sound is just faulty sometimes, but it doesn't BSOD.
BTW. how the hell do you figure we should complete warped chaos 3, it's ridiculosly frustrating and hard

Re: BSOD in Osmos
Hi contradel,
Glad to hear you found a fix! Could you describe in what way the sound is faulty now?
As for warped chaos 3: you need to move fast at the beginning and concentrate on absorbing as much "regular" matter as possible. (The Attractors repel each other, so they won't combine.) Once most of the regular matter is gone, you should hopefully be large enough to absorb the smallest Attractor or two. (If not, restart and try again.) Then it's just a matter of planning a path (like a warped game of billiards) to get those Attractors and work you way up the size-chain. Good luck!
