Wow, painful problem, sorry! The only other thing I can suggest is using D3D mode instead of OpenGL: http://www.hemispheregames.com/faq-pcos ... /#tech_d3d
If that doesn't work, then I think we're at the end of our troubleshooting options. (Besides hunting for different sound or video drivers.)
