I had no problems with my old pc (that's a bloody decade old and running XP) but my new one, running 7, has a problem where all of the graphics are pixelated. Any help is appreciated.

Wow, strange-looking problem! Looks like only low mipmap versions of those textures are loading. What's odd about it, though, is that some of the textures are fine (e.g. fonts).

Can you please verify you have the latest drivers for your video card and motherboard?

Wow! Didn't expect a response so fast. My apologies. My video drivers are definitely up to date and I'm not quite sure how to check my mobo... I did the auto-update for all system-devices in device manager, but that's all I know how to do. If you tell me what to check I'm sure I can find that.
